Slaying of Laban

I’m not much of a religious person, but at the same time religion is one of my favorite subjects to talk about. The other day at the Salt Lake City Comic Con FanXperience I was contracted by a client representing Brigham Young University (BYU) to do any scene, rendered any way I chose, from one story in the Book of Mormon.

I was surprised given, as most of you know, my work is on the darker side and everything on display was dark work. However, I was pleasantly surprised and accepted the offer, the one stipulation was that I had to name the piece on the spot. That was easy as I already knew what I was going to do.
